I am back

Hi, Hello, Sorry I haven't been into blogging and I was thinking about deleting this blog before the pandemic. I only remembered, I had an unpublished post sitting here. Sorry to say I lost my creative mojo. While dealing with pandemic life, kids, and weight gain. etc. I am happy I am back into crafting full time. I have been working on myself. I am currently working on losing weight with a new lifestyle change in my diet and going to the gym, I lost 35+ lbs so far, I am back into loom knitting. It feels so good to just to sit and loom knit. I'm working on a hat for Looming Exclusive Designs. I never really did quit crocheting. The only project I really did make was some dish scrubbies, granny squares, and working on some blankets. Some blankets are still in progress and been sitting on for years. i will get back to them soon. I also got into doing Diamond art, some card making, Circuit designing, and I did some Perler beads as well. Hopefully you will see some project here or on my Facebook page here. Anyways have a great day.

Busy with Baby Sweaters

Hey what's up followers,
Sorry I haven't really posted in a while. I have been busy, Since starting 2019. I told myself, I was going to give more focus on my blogs, looming, and keeping up with everything. I know I'm not perfect. I don't try to be either. I did and do still plan to keep up with these things in 2019. If you read my looming blog you probably have seen I started a temperature blanket and I am still going strong with it. Besides that, I had to place my designing on hold, I have been busy with life, family, and friends. A little over 2 months ago, one of my close friends was checking out my Instagram and asked me if I could make 4 baby crochet sweater with long sleeves. I agreed and have been working on them since then. I have about 3 more to complete. I am hoping I can try to finish them in the next month or 2. I miss and want to get back into looming and designing.

Hi welcome again

Hi welcome to this blog again,

I have decided to redo this blog to make it more personal one. I just changed the name to Sassy Stitch Girl. However I did delete my Facebook page that goes with this blog. I will make a new one in time. I just need to get other things done first.
Anyways Hi how are you today? I am a stay at home mom of 3 that loves craft, spend time with my family and friends. I deal with what moms deal with kid drama, depression, anxiety, and sometime anti-social. etc This sometimes effects me from crafting and some days I just want to crochet vs.loom knitting. I do feel bad because a have a looming blog as well as this one. I want to write pattern for it. But some patterns need to be tested first. I currently have 2 looming patterns that have been just been sitting and waiting to be redone. I do plan on working on this coming year as well as more, I just got some new looms for Christmas and I cant wait to create. Well bye for now have a nice day.

Thanks for being here.
Bonny

Finished Blankets

I would like to say, I got all these blanket done as I planned to do in my last post. I also have started looming again and designing for the other blog Looming Exclusives Designs. I still have a few hat patterns to finish writing for that blog. I am hoping to get them out by the end of the month. Anyways I wanted share a little bit on how I made these Afghans that I call Blankets. I did not design theses patterns. I only started crocheting on May of 2014 and I still consider myself a beginner crocheter. I stick with what I know how do most of the time. There are some days where I feel like I need a crochet lesson and I go on Youtube, learn something new, and try to copy it from memory. I am still amazed that I can start the 2nd start pattern below without a pattern or the video.

This Lion Brand Hometown USA Corner to corner blanket was made the colors Minneapolis Purple and Neon Pink with a 10mm crochet hook. I started out with 5 row of  Minneapolis Purple, Then did 5 rows of neon pink and continue this pattern until it was how big I wanted it to be. Then I started to decrease it in the middle row of the neon pink. I continue to decreased the blanket and somehow I ended up with 4 rows on the last corner. I was happy this blanket was done because this one took me over a 1 and 1/2 years to complete and will enjoy it for a life time.

This Rainbow (Super}Star Blanket was made with Red Heart Super Saver yarn in the colors Red Hot, Pumpkin, Bright Yellow, Spring Green, Light Periwinkle, Medium Purple, and the border is Zebra. I used a 5mm crochet hook and did 3 rows of each color twice and then did a half double crochet for the border in the Zebra color.

This Pink Spotted Star Blanket was made with Premier Yarns in the baby yarn. I don't remember the colors names. I did 3 rows of the pink color, 2 rows of the speckled color, 3 rows of the pink color, 2 rows of the speckled color, 3 rows of the pink color, 2 rows of the speckled color, 3 rows of the pink color, 6 rows of the speckled color, and fininshed off with single crochet in in the pink color yarn.
